Hi:

Even if an Interaction is marked as "Cancelled", what do you do if you cannot delete that Interaction using the normal means of searching for and using "Interaction Log Entries"?

Thanks!

John

If no option exists it will be by design. If you want the facility it would require development

But, why is this happening?  It shouldn't be, based on documentation and other items.

Hi, any error message or something? I agree with you that if interaction marked as Cancel it should delete using BC function.

Unfortunately, no error message to review.  :(

I tried to see if I can find any transaction that after Cancel I cannot delete but I could not find one. What is this transaction looks like? Is it possible for you to post screenshot of it?

    Hi MahGah:

Below are a couple of screenshots from the Contact Card.  Please let me know if anything else is needed.

    Thanks!

    Hi MahGah:

I have tested other similar interactions for other contacts and was able to successfully delete those interactions.  It seems to me that this issue is the result of some sort of glitch.

Normally, if I had access to the database, I could run a script to delete it.  But, that access is "not there".

Is this something that I would have to ask Microsoft to delete?

    Hi John

Thanks for letting me know. I have tried to replicate the issue but had no success.

I think you should ask Microsoft to delete it.

In the side note: we asked our developer for some tables to create a page that we can access that table and then delete. We needed it for a few tables and it is super useful for us. Maybe you need such a page for interaction because it is a long process to delete something. Our page that I mentioned are protected by permission (even super user needs that permission)
