Perhaps you could use workflows and customer journeys to tag contacts that have been added to a segment.
1.Create one custom field in contact entity, which is used to tag contacts that have been added to a segment.
2.Create one on-demand workflow in the contact entity, update the custom field, then save and active the workflow:
3.Create one customer journey, set as following screenshot:
---select the specific segment and run the workflow you just created, save and go live the journey:
