Using CRM as a bookings system.

Good day all, I need to create a booking system in CRM. I am looking for some idea's on how to achieve this? I am assuming I am not the only person to have ever done this.

The basic business rules are.

1. Only 1 person can book location at a time ie. booking dates for a location can not overlap.

2. A booking can be one of four type. Eg Type A, B, C or D

3. Prices for a booking are calculated by Booking Type and Location

I look forward to hearing your idea's on this and thanks in advanced.

    Hi,

You can easily build this type of system in CRM you can always create custom entity and enforce your custom logic, I will suggest you to play with existing solution by setting up a quick trial and see it you can reuse existing functionality.

I should have mentioned, could we use field services to achieve this? Is using field services a good idea to achieve this?

    Hello,

One good solution is to rely on an existing booking system, such as this tool, and then integrate it, for instance using Zapier
Creating an online booking system from scratch is a very hard task. So, why not using a premade one?

    Best,
