Hi

does anyone know if a way exists to break work by located license plate? This is for sales work

I have a specific location that we want to scan many lps of the same lp to. ii have multiple lp in one location, so want each lp to be its own work. It has to lp controlled as the put location is the final shipping location.

Grouping by license plate or located lp doesn’t seem to work for me on the grouping?

I have the same question (0)

Is your LP a fixed conversion to the stocking unit of measure?  If so, on your work template, set a "work header maximum->Maximum number of pick lines" of 1 AND a "maximum" of either quantity = 1 of your pallet / LP unit in the Unit field, or slide the "packing quantity as maximum"

    Hi Colby

unfortunately the quantity per lp is not standardised and could be more or less than a full pallet of the item. It’s more likely to not be standard conversion to pallet than anything else. This is just based on the specific scenario which is too detailed as to why to explain here, and actually not relevant to what is required from the system.

I suspected that I cannot break the work by LP so I think you are pretty much confirming this here.

    Hi tl82,

In Standard there is no possibility to break works by LP as the reservation is done on the third level of reservation hierarchie (Site,Warehouse,Status)

    then you have 4 options:

1 you sry to standardize you Ti-hi for by item and work with packing qty as a maximum in the work template.

2 if the LPs are on racks, then if your locations in the system are reflating the physical locations then you can break works by locations.

3 you can group the picking in the Mobile device menu items and then let the user brake them using the full button for saying that he can't lift more than the quantity mentioned.

4 add a customization on the allocation wave step to assign a LP after assigning the location. (Will consume hugely the resources depending on your WHS layout)

    Kind Regards,
