Import Data Option - Cannot make it display in the UI

Hello

I have read many Blogs on the permission required to make the 'Import Data' option be available in the UI when I go through the

Data Management --> Import options...

I have set up the following permission but the option is still not available in the UI to allow a file to be uploaded ready for import...

Core Records -->Import Source File, Data Map, Data Import, Web Wizard, Web Wizard Access Privilege and Wizard page

Customization tab --> system jobs.

Please be clear I have not got an import issue as current I cannot get that far to import the file... works OK for system Admin but not for other security roles

Hi Stuart,

You need to give the permission for the users in the security role as Organization level access, then you able to see and operate on the import.

So finally found a blog that answered it... the issue was in my instance the permission above were correct, but by default I do not give user 'delete' permission as I have had some issue in the past, but for the Data Map and Data Import it must have a minimum of a 'User' level delete..

In the security role, this is one place you make all permission as organization,

Hi Stuart,

verify whether user's security role have required priviliges. Please refer www.powerobjects.com/.../data-import-privileges
