Dynamics GP 2013 R2 Home Page To Do list disappears after lack of activity

If a Dynamics GP session is left unused for a length of time (say 30 minutes), the Reminders section of the To Do pane all disappear (multiple Smartlist reminders) and do not return using a refresh or navigating off the Home Page and back again. The only way I've found to reinstate them is to log out and back in again.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
