How do one activate the inactive IME mode within a field as this is inactive as part of the core solution by default and we believed this is affecting emails tracked from outlook to show the date sent. Anyone experienced this.

'IME Mode' is only relevant if users enter Chinese, Japanese, or Korean characters. It affects the css imeMode property - see
