If I want to view the GL details for a payment, it always defaults to USD. However, the payment made was in CAD but the GL details are only showing in USD. Is there a way I can view the GL details in CAD? Also, is there a rhyme or reason as to why NAV auto populates two specific FX gain/loss GL codes on these payments?

Hi, I recommend looking in Customer/Vendor Ledger Entries, it's easier.

Or you can try the function below.

Thank you Zhu! But what if we conduct business in more than two currencies? For example, we have USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, and NZD. Could I add all additional currencies in the setup and then see them in customer ledger entries?

Hi, there are Currency Code and Original Amount fields in Customer Ledger Entries, which are standard functions and do not require additional settings.

Thank you again, Zhu. I can see the different currencies in Customer Ledger Entries but unable to once I drill into the GL Entry (Navigate / GL Entry). This is where it would be helpful to see the various currencies.

you could have a dev build a customization to include the currency code for other currencies. The out of box gl only shows local currency.
