My organization requires that all public facing web sites be protected by a Web Application Firewall. We've been asked to put one in front of each site we've built in D365. However, I wonder whether the same security functionality is already inherently provided by D365.
Is there any documentation on the best practices for securing a D365 site?
Microsoft offers Azure Front Door and Application Gateway services which provide this sort of functionality, as do other vendors. Is there really any security to be gained by doing so for D365?
Thanks all
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
By D365 Site you mean Portal or On-premise D365 (IFD)?
