making changes to inline edit view

Hi,

I want to edit the quote  inline edit view on quote entity. I want to remove some of the columns and increase the width of one column. Since this view is managed I cannot make changes to this. I tried making changes to the view and save as new but it this is not helping.

I saw questions related to this but I am not getting proper answer for this.

How this can be done.

    Hi,

You can't do changes in that view, even if you will try to do save as you will loose inline editing feature.

Is there any solution for this or any alternate way.

As a workaround you can create a view based on your requirement and add that view under subgrid which you canmake editable.

True, you won't be able to achieve all features, it's just a workaround

Unfortunately you can not edit system view or managed view there is no other way unless you create a new view, so better touch will create new view and change as per your need .
