How to enter Insurance Contracts

I've been asked to look into insurance contracts so that we may be able to disable paying vendors until insurance contacts are updated.  Is there a better way to do that? If not how do I go about adding insurance contracts? I can't find any data on it.

    Hi,

    I am going to reveal my ignorance here, but what do you mean by insurance contracts, and what about them would want you to disable the vendor?

    Do you have some kind of contract with a vendor that says we will not pay you for anything until the contract end date?

    Hi,

    Another thought popped into my head, you could run a stored proc each day that would query the contract end date and then automatically remove the vendor hold based on that date.
