On our new CRM installation, every time we use the create quick campaign wizard we get 3 javascript alert error boxes pop up saying 'tab1Tab' undefined. I know that the onload events can be played around with in customisation but cannot find the relevant one for the quick campaign wizard. Can anyone help?

    Hi Stuart,

    Did you ever resolve this issue as we have the same issue in one of client's tenants i.e. one is okay and the other not !!.... In the one that is giving the error we have customised the contact entity and have a hidden tab but this is not tab1

    Um no. We still get the error message and we've learned to love it ;-)

    Seriously though if someone could help that would be great.

    Thanks to the clever guys (James) at etcgs we've just had this solved for us. The fix involves editing the onload events for the phone call and task entities (?) by adding a try catch block around the existing code. Ie

     try{var CRM_FORM_TYPE_QUICKCREATE = 5;

    switch (crmForm.FormType)

              {case CRM_FORM_TYPE_QUICKCREATE:break;default:tab1Tab.style.display='none'break;}catch(err){}

    Why this has affected us and does not seem to be a common problem I still don't know. Anyway thanks again to James.
