Recording a Sales Invoice + Cash Receipt in one Sales Journal

Hello everyone - coming from Microsoft Dynamics GP, it was possible to record a receivables invoice as well as a cash receipt within the same transaction window. This could be done manually or via Integration Manager. Is it possible to use the Sales Journal function in Business Central to accomplish both the receivables invoice and cash receipt in one window?

Hi, This can be done in General Journals if you are just posting invoices manually. However, Sales Order or Sales Invoice cannot be posted.

Take a look at Payment Methods
If You provide a Bal. Account for payment method, then at the moment of posting Sales Invoice (if it has this Payment Method), system will also post the payment. This is usually used when You have a cash register etc.
