Timesheet Submittal Through API/OData

Hi all,

I managed to figure out how to set the web service for Time Sheets in Business Central and through Postman I was able to get the time sheet records and update them. However now I've come across the issue of having no way to actually submit the time sheet through Postman. I took a look at the OData Bound/Unbound actions but I couldn't find anything that mentions submitting the time sheet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not part of the api either: docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics_timeregistrationentry

It will need to be developed. Please share the results so others can benefit

Can you share what you're trying to accomplish and the business case behind it? In other words, WHY are you needing to do this? That may help to offer other solutions.

Sure,

Basically the goal is to create a time sheet application where you can update and submit your time. The idea is that we want to lockdown the interactions within the time sheet so the end user only has to worry about putting their time in and submitting it.

Ah! Now maybe we're 'cooking with fire' Ok, what about using something like this (appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.2control|AID.compliance-fieldsecurity|PAPPID.a6445f6e-b8cd-49ac-81b0-174656511165 rather than custom coding?
