What is the service zone code field used for on the customer card?
 
I want to be able to enter in the customer type (example- distributor, employee, direct)

    What is the service zone code field used for on the customer card?
    - This field is used to copy this value into the "Service Zone Code" field of the service order header when the customer is the same.

    Hi, this has something to do with the Service module.
     
    As for the customer type you mentioned, it's a bit like Contact Type. But there are only two values, Company and Person. So I think the best way is to use Dimension to manage it, which does not require customization.
