Can not see the Designer tab in the BC

Hi All,

I am on the sandbox environment, and I cannot see the Designer tab on my setting page. The Application version is 21.2.

Can anyone tell us, is there any new features in this update? or what is the reason for the same?

    Hi,

    Important

    Currently, Designer is only available from a Dynamics 365 Business Central sandbox.

    Every time you start designing, you're effectively creating a new extension. Your changes are immediately visible to other users in the sandbox environment.

    Designer cannot be used by multiple users at the same time in sandboxes.

    what permission sets are assigned?

    you need "EXTEND. MGT. - ADMIN" without a company assigned.

    As they explain, you might not have the permissions to see the designer :-)

    yes, that permission is already there, still I cannot see the Design tab, till yesterday I could see that tab but today I cannot see.

    If nothing else has changed it might be worth a try to test another browser or clear your browser data.

    Hi, it's also possible that it's a license issue with you.
    Please make sure the user has an Essential or Premium license, Teams Member cannot do it either.
