I'm doing some data clean-up and I was wondering if and how I could add some fields in the view used for the duplicate detection scheduled job.
Do you know? :-)

    Hi Julie,

If you look at your screenshot , on the top - it giving you the name of the view being used which is - "Contacts Advanced Find View".

so please go to your customization > customize the system>  contact entity > views > open this and click on add columns > save and close and publish.

I already did that but the views do not match at all.

    See for accounts for example:

Make sure you are saving and publishing your changes , if you have already done this try to clear browser cache and see it making any difference.

    Hi Julie,

Interesting...! looks like the name it shows as "Accounts advanced find view" is actually a temporary name it takes when query is run and save that for duplicate.

This is view is internally coming from system job itself and that doesnt seem to be customizable at all.

I will further check and come back to you. Even i noticed this in my environment now.

It does not :( The changes to the view were made a long time ago, but the duplicate detection view doesn't seem to be related to the name showing in the screenshot.

Quick check - can you match em with public or associated view?

None, not even a deactivated one. Did you find one similar in your environment?

    Hi,

Just checked  in my environment, it seems you can't change all the column but only some column can be changed using lookup view. Added some column and I was able to see those columns and removed after removing from lookup view.
