Legend missing from chart in Dashboard

78111.Capture.JPGHi,

I have created various simple charts using views I have built. When I create the chart in the dashboard the legend key shows to tell the reader the information they need to know to read the chart, however when i publish it the key has gone so the chart is no longer of any use.

I have tried all options under Edit Components and I have changed the height and width of the charts to see whether this makes a difference but I am unable to work out how to display them.

Any help would be appreciated as this seems so simple.

Image shows chart from dashboard (top)

Chart in edit tool (bottom)

Thanks

    Hi partner,

    Could you provide some screenshots?

    Hi,

Now added in original post. Unsure whether will help with answer as very small but it's only the missing key which is different.

    Thanks

    Hi partner,

If you open the chart in the view, does the Legend appear?

Or if you click Expand Chart of the dashboard, can you see the Legend?

No, it doesn't show if you expand the view.

    Hi partner,

We can check if IsVisibleInLegend is false in the xml of chart.

    Please refer to https://crmchartguy.com/2013/03/03/removing-axis-titles-legend-and-axis-labels-in-crm-charts-for-ms-crm-2011/

Go to view and open the chart, export the chart.

Open the xml file, search for IsVisibleInLegend.

    • If there is IsVisibleInLegend="false", then change it to IsVisibleInLegend="true".
    • If there is no IsVisibleInLegend, then insert IsVisibleInLegend="true" between Series and ChartType.

Finally import the xml into D365.
