Purchase Agreement Confirmation Fails

Hi everyone,

I am working on Purchase Agreements in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. I have completed all the required setup, including vendor, released products, procurement categories, and number sequences. The purchase agreement is also confirmed and shows a status of Effective.

However, I am facing two issues:

The “Release order” button is disabled.

When I try to add a line, no items are showing in the item lookup (it displays “We didn’t find anything to show here”).

I have already verified the following:

Items are created as released products

Purchase is enabled on the items

Vendor is properly set up

Agreement is confirmed and active

Despite this, I am still unable to select items or release an order.

Hi @Kavana,

You may want to check the following points:

1-Purchase Agreement Classification: If the classification used in the Purchase Agreement has “Require direct delivery” enabled, the Release order option will be disabled.
Try unchecking this setting, it should resolve the issue with releasing orders.

2-Item Selection Issue
For the item lookup, please verify the procurement category access policy.
Ensure that the category assigned to the item is included in the policy and is accessible at the appropriate level. Otherwise, items may not appear during selection.

Also make sure if you are using Product quantity and Product value Commitment type it will show list of items. If you are using Value commitment then you need to select category in line.
