Afternoon All,
Hoping someone will be able to help or point me in the right direction or possible feedback on their own process.
Our current Security Role Profile setup, is we have 1 base profile all users are allocated, and we have 3 add-on security roles (Super User, Manager, Excel Exporter). So a User will have the base profile and 0 to all 3 of the add-ons. The number of these profiles are tripled, as we have the same for 2 areas of business. ie area 1 base profile and area 2 base profile and so on.
We found it difficult to keep track on which Users have which security roles (200 users). Our external process is a little cumbersome.
So we created 6 teams, and allocated each team a profile. This has meant the we can easily see which users have what access. However we now have the issue, that all users do not have a profile, so when a new batch of users are added they appear in the list with everyone else.
Ideally I would like to create a view to show all users who are not part of a team. Or go back to users having their own profiles, but a way to quickly see which security roles users have.
We are currently CRM 2013 online with Spring Release.
Cheers
