Good morning,

I am trying to enable Timesheets in Wiise Payroll Setup and am receiving the error message "Please finalise existing timesheet lines before enabling Payroll Timesheets." Is there a way I can finalise these in bulk as there are a number from previous financial years?

As other comments have mentioned this may be a Wiise question.

What you can try doing in BC is to open the page Manager Time Sheets and make sure to archive all time sheets. You will also most likely want to make sure they are all posted and there are no open time sheets.

Hello Leanne,

No bulk-finalize exists in standard BC/Wiise.
You need to open the Timesheets list and either approve, reject, or delete the old lines so they are no longer “open.”
Once all historic lines are closed, the Payroll Timesheets toggle will enable.

If the backlog is huge, most sites either:

Delete old unused lines via the Timesheet page, or

Ask Wiise support to run a backend cleanup (common for prior-year leftovers).
