Workflow problem

Hi

I have created the workflow to created record, the workflow is on-demand process.

The workflow does the job, but does the job several times instead of one time.

What could be the problem?

    In all honesty that sounds like you have a plugin that is updating th record which is causing the workflow to fire.

    How many times is the workflow running?

    On demand workflows do not fire unless something is causing them to fire. Please re-check that it is not getting called on some other trigger like update of a field.

    As you said your workflow is on demand so it will fire only when you run it and it will execute at once. So issue is maybe you have another workflow or plug-ins registered that will fire after your workflow and create the records Or  issue is may be because we have workflow register on change of any fields.

    I have checked, i have the problem when i manually go to custom entity and create new record.

    It creates the the same records several times.

    I dont have active process and i dont know what i have done wrong.

    Where should i look for potential problem?

    Hi Davor,

    What exactly does your on-demand process do? Are there any other plugins or workflows attached on creation of a record?

    Also, when you create a workflow, by default Start When: 'Record is created' checkbox will be checked in.

    Please check if it is checked and that might be triggering everytime an ondemand record is created.

    Hi,

    I think that something happened with the workflow, but after i deleted it was still present.

    So i decided to delete the entitie and create the new one, and now there are no problems.
