Related records list view - Not returning after saving

I wasn't sure how to search for this scenario so i decided to just post it.  Its a difference in behavior from CRM 2013 and D365. When you open a contact or account record and go to a list view of related records (for example opportunity), you can see a list of open opportunities. If you open up an opportunity and make changes then exit, it should take you back to the list of opportunities.  Instead it takes you back to the main contact or account record.  In CRM 2013, it worked by taking you back to the list view. D365 (8.2) takes you back to the contact or account  record.  Can this be fixed?

This behavior happens on any entity and related entities list view. its not just contact and account.

    Hi Tara,

I think this might be expected behavior now but i would suggest to reach out to MS Support for a confirmation.

If they confirm that this is a flaw in the application then maybe they will also release a fix, depending on the business impact that this issue has for you.

    Hope this helps,

    Radu
