Hello All,

We are importing new leads information, instead of creating new leads the import is updating existing leads.

User selected Allow Duplicates to Yes when doing the import.

Any ideas when does the record gets updated with am import?

    go to settings - datamanagement - imports , check if it is succeed or failed ....if failed find the reason in failure tab

    HI ,

    Please check your duplicate detection rules , make sure that the new records your adding does not have any matching criteria as defined in the duplicate detection rules .

    Also please uncheck the option of 'Allow duplicates' so that you have only unique records in your table .

    Hi Abhilash,

    If you want update record, Then you need to select Allow Duplicate as No.

    Then Imported record will get update

    Hi Abhilash - If you want to update the leads - Export the leads from CRM - Check the box "Make this data available for reimporting........". In the exported sheet, modify your data and import it back. This will update the ones already in CRM.
