Windows Identity Foundation 3.5 error when trying to run XRM Toolbox

Each time I try to launch XRM Toolbox, I get the error message that I have to have Windows Identity Foundation 3.5 on my computer, which I already have.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional with SP1.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get past this?

    Hi Debra

    Have you tried reinstalling the WIF 3.5 and restarting your machine?

    Do you also have Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.2 installed?

    Also , try running the XRM toolbox by right click and run as admin

    Hi Debra,

    I encountered the same problem with windows 10 and I solved it by activate Windows Identity Fundation.
