I am trying to Preview Post a Sales Invoice and get the following error message: The General Posting Setup does not exist. Identification fields and values: Gen. Bus. Posting Group = ".

I have the correct Gen Bus Posting Group in the Customer Card and the correct Gen Prod Posting Group set up in the Resources.  The General Posting Setup has both of these combinations set up.  For some reason, it thinks the Gen Bus Posting Group is blank in the Header.  I have even Inspected the Page of the Sales Order and looked at the table and it is populated.  How did this happen and how do I fix it?

Any help is MUCH appreciated.

    Hi,

Not sure if you resolved this but out of interest has the "Gen. Bus. Posting Group" pulled onto the sales line if you inspect the sales line table? I've check the Sales Line table on my system and it does pull through so I'm wondering if this is blank it your situation.

    Thanks

    Gavin

One line in the Sales Invoice and it is a Resource.

Resource was shipped from the Sales Order.

Then added the Sales Invoice manually, but pulled in the Shipment Lines.

This error message has never come up before and we do it like this all the time, whether it is a Resource or an Item.

    Hi,

Which product version and which country do you use?

How many lines do you have in the sales invoice? all are related to Resources?

Has the invoice been added manually?

Does the same happen with other sales invoices as well?

    Thanks

     Dirk
