Call recording and transcription retention

Hello!

I am trying to figure out what the default retention period is for call recordings and transcriptions for Dynamics 365 Contact Center.
A caller and an agent finish their call, after which the call recording and transcription is placed on the timeline of said customer.

How long are the recording and transcription stored before automatic deletion?
Can these values be changed, e.g., let call recording be deleted but let transcription persist?

I am aware that retention policies exist but don't know how to apply these to call recordings/transcriptions yet.
