HI Experts,

Hope you are doing fine.
Recently , I faced a warning for a field which is in base application and in obsoleteState= Pending , this field has reference in our customized extension ,now this shows warning in Visual studio. The field is Home Page in Company Information Table.

Now , I don't understand , how this warning can be solved or this will work automatically when field will removed , how its behaviour is defined, not able to understand. Please suggest a solution.

Thanks in advance.
I have the same question (0)

    Hope this might be helpful:

Yes, the obsoleteState = Pending warning means the field will become an error in a future update. It's recommended to remove its reference from your extension now and find an alternative to prevent breakage during future Business Central updates.

You change nothing according to the message they'll increased the number of characters from 80 to 255 so I don't think you'll have any problem.

Hi @Sohail Ahmed , @Mohamed Amine Mahmoudi , Very thanks for your quick response.

As per your sayings , I need to do nothing , as length will increased by Microsoft. I was confused before but it was fine.

    Again Thanks.

    Cheers

However, after Microsoft updates, you may also need to modify the length of this field in your extension. 80->255.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
