Hi all,

one of the sales is assigning a case to an engineer that has access to see his own cases. so the create by is the sales person and the owner is the engineer. but the problem is that the engineer gets an error when he opens that case.

Insufficient Permissions

You do not have permission to access these records. Contact your Microsoft Dynamics 365 administrator.

what are the missing permissions?

    Hi,

    It seems some permission on the related entity is missing, I will suggest you to enable tracing if you are using on premise ? once you enabled tracing you can see complete details which specific entity permission this user is missing.

    You can also check on the event viewer, if there some info is recorded there.

    You can also use accesschecker to check all related entity permissions.

    It look permission issue.  If you don't know which permission is missing then download log file and follow below link.
