Flows - Power Automate

Posted on by 37
Good Day,

I have a Flow that keeps failing but I am not understanding why.
The Flow Counts the number of email on a Record.

The Step that is failing looks like this:

The error message says this:

Sorry I can't copy and paste the actual error message, I can't seem to post when I do that, so here is a screen shot.
I assume I am missing something, but not sure what?
Can someone please help resolve this?

Thank you
Shawn

    Hi Dengliang,

The Flow looks like this (It might look a little different as I have been working with it)
    The basic Process is:
    1. An email comes in. The Flow triggers
    2. The Flow gets and saves the Id that is on the 'regardingobjectid' field.
    3. The Flow then compares the 'regardingobjectid' to the GUID for the Regulatory Case.
    4. If there is a match, it counts the emails and updates a field.
    5. The problem is, if there is no match, meaning the email is not related to a Regulatory Case, the Flow fails. which is fine.

I wish there was a way to make the Flow only trigger if the the email is related to a Regulatory Case, but I don't think it's possible.

    Thanks,
    Shawn Low

    Hi,

Could you provide the complete flow?
Does the Row ID of the /Get the record Related to the Email Message/ action come from the Regarding field of the email in the previous step?

If so, the following error occurs.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li
