BOM lines missing in Production Order

Hi experts,
As shown below, a production order has been firmed from planned production order.
And now its status has been changed to Started.
But when clicking on BOM under Production Details, no BOM components are viewed.
Active BOM and routes were inserted already and there's no DB log that records were manually deleted by a user.

Does anyone know how to find cause of this issue?
Thank you!

Is there any possibility that,  Bom selection is deleted during the generation of the production order?

If I understood your comment correctly, that production order still has a valid BOM ID.

During the generation of the production order, valid BOM and route were inserted.

But before to say ok on the PO creation form, user has deleted the selection of the BOM

As you mentioned, I deleted the selection of the BOM on purpose and created a production order.

Then after changing status of the production order to 'Started' , I saw no components in production BOM.

However, it seems that there's no way to reassign BOM ID to this production order.

Is there a way of selecting a valid BOM again once production order was set to 'Started'?

    Hi,

Not that I know of. You need to do the consumption manually with the BOM journals.

Is there any end date which is before production creation date on BOM components ?

There was no end date (= To date) defined on BOM components.

If I create a new production order with this parent item, I can see production BOM details well.

Not sure why this issue occurred only one time. I'm still looking into this issue.

The only way to re-assign a BOM ID to the production order is to reset it's status back to Created, then use the BOM Copy function with the "Update BOM number" flag ticked to copy the active & approved BOM (or any approved BOM for that matter) to your production order.
