PO receipt entry and Invoice match line transactions disappear

I have been troubleshooting an issue with GP2015. Of course this is an intermittent issue so it is near impossible to trace.

A PO receipt is entered (both shipment receipts and enter match invoices) and saved to a batch.  An edit list will be printed --- once the batch is reopened to post all the line items have disappeared.

At one time there was a customization on the Receipt window, but this has been completely removed from the software.

I have no ISV products that touch the PO Receipts.

Has anyone in the community experienced this?
