We are currently facing the issue that the posting of the packing slip, is causing the confirmed ship date to change when it falls between ATP and the setup issue margin. Example: customer service has set the confirmed ship date to today (07-08-2025), since it has been send out today. They then post the packing slip to confirm the shipment. However, since the delivery date control is set to ATP + issue margin (with issue margin of 3 days) the confirmed ship date is changed to 10-08-2025. This is logically based on the setup, and while it behaves as setup, our customer does not want this to happen. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this from happening. The customer does want the issue margin to be taken into account when making the original sales order, so changing delivery date to only ATP is not desirable.
