How to use macro to print to PDF and specify filename?

Posted on by 410

We have a macro for printing aging reports that works very well if we opt to print to html files;  however, if we opt to print to a PDF file (first by choosing Printer, then specifying the PDF filename), the macro stops at the point of entering in the filename.

Can GP macros be used when the Windows print dialog is triggeredCan the macro file itself be edited to include the filename we wish to use?  I saw someone suggest using Named Printers, but I do not see how a Named Printer can specify a specific filename.

Suggestions as to how we can use a GP macro to print to a PDF and specify the filename?  (The filename will be the same each time... BUT we are choosing two reports in this macro, and each will need to have its own name.)

Thank you!
