Hello ,

I'm planning to deploy on-premise environment D365 for finance and operations can i use windows 2019 server for the installation ?

As per the MSDN article, we can use windows server 2016 latest for D365 on-premise installation.
But we have windows server 2019, can we use use them for the installation?

Any help or information would be appreciated,

Hi Ma'en Moutaz,

Microsoft have not announced support for that particular configuration and not updated in articles, but it is technically possible. If you want to be absolutely safe go for one of the supported Windows Server 2016 editions instead of Windows Server 2019.

Currently, only Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (only English OS installations are supported).

I have tried and yes we can deploy it using windows 2019 servers.
