My question is wether or not you can disable the automatic updates in the CRM 2011 Online system? We use a synchronization software which gathers information form another system, and after the roll ups are done, there are mistakes in the synchronization. I am looking for some kind of solution to this problem.

    Yes you can disable auto update.

    Per this KB:

    Update Rollup 13 (Latest available at this time) for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is available: support.microsoft.com/.../2791312

    Use Windows Update to automatically install Update Rollup 13 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. This update rollup will be available on Windows Updates in April 2013.  To turn off windows update: windows.microsoft.com/.../Turn-automatic-updating-on-or-off

    Dynamics CRM Online doesn't always follow the same Roll Up release versions as On-Prem - and unfortunately you don't get a choice as to when the updates are applied. You might be able to arrange something if you call Microsoft support - but I would't be too optimistic since from security and maintainability perspective, Microsoft need to keep all organisations on the latest production release version.
