hey i have a task to do that i want my user can make sales order but cannot create sales invoice how to set permission for this

    If you are using standard permission sets, then you can assign them D365 SALES DOC, EDIT  but not D365 SALED DOC, POST, which creates sales invoices,

    This can be achieved through User Setup (91), where you can block users from posting invoices. You don’t need a customized permission set for this.

    not sure what you mean by "cannot create sales invoice". Does it mean not to create a sales invoice document or unable to post the sales order? 
     
    For the former, you need to exclude the user from insert the sales invoice header and line table. 
    For the latter, you need to exclude the user from execute the post code unit of sales post.

    A simple way to do this is to exclude the permissions for the Sales Invoice List (9301, List) page.
