Bulk printing and emailing Customer Statements.

Good Morning All,

We are on Dynamics GP 2018 (18.00.0704 (R2)) and we are looking for a way to bulk generate statements to our customers. Some are emailed and some snail mailed. Is there a process to generate these on mass monthly?

No, but custom solution can be develop for this functionality.

I would recommend looking at Dynamics Report Manager from Rockton Software. This just takes SSRS reports you have and will print, email automatically or can be triggered by a user on any GP window.

We don't mass send statements, but we mass send invoices every day (among other forms). It will email to the customer automatically and also print the ones that have to get sent via snail mail.

There is not an automatic mass email/print process, but you could create a RM Statement ID, and then when the Print Remaining Statements check box is selected and the Email button clicked in the Print Receivables Statements window (Microsoft Dynamics GP >> Tools >> Routines >> Sales >> Statements), Microsoft Dynamics GP will:

1. Generate emails for all customers set up to receive statements via email using Microsoft Word Templates.

2. After all emails have been generated, Microsoft Dynamics GP will then print all remaining statements for customers included in the group who did not receive an email. You would have to go into the window and click email each month but once it is all setup it is a one click operation to send and print the statements.

You have to use Microsoft Word Templates? I guess I need to brush up on those.
