Doubled "Ordered In Total" quantity for Batch Order with Open Quality Order

Hi All,

I am new with D365 and I have some questions.

Can someone explain me about the Inventory on-hand Ordered In Total quantity for the Item that has open Batch Order and Quality Order? Our Quality setup is simple and  triggered upon reported as finish with full blocking. The scenario is I created Batch Order with 32 quantity then generate quality order. When I check the Item On-hand Ordered In Total it becomes 64, 32 is ordered reserved and another 32 is on-order for the other item that will use this batch. So the question is why is it there were 2 inventory blocking status?

It is based on "expected receipts" setting of associated inventory blocking. If it is yes, then the items are expected to return back to stock and therefore can be considered to be available for future demand. If it is set to no, then there will not be that "ordered" inventory transaction.
