I have done a clean up of VAT Business Posting Groups, but when I try to delete the VAT Posting Setup line related to the now deleted VAT Business Posting Group I get the following Error:

The page has an error. Correct the error or try to revert the change. You cannot delete NOVAT

I have the same question (0)

If you have any GL Entries with that combination of Business Posting Group and Product Posting Group then you cannot delete posting setup.

Best to stick with the error message.

If you want to see what happens when you ignore the error message. Which I’m not condoning. You can try this.

Create a configuration package. Add table 325. Add a filter for something that doesn’t exist on one of the fields. Apply a tick to the “Delete table records before processing” of the configuration package line. Export a excel sheet. It will be blank if you set the filter. Place a dummy value in. Import the excel. Use the apply data button. This will error on your dummy import data - most likely - whilst deleting all the data. Your import could include the one’s you intend on keeping.

Again. Not condoning this. But it is possible. The side effects would need testing.

I do not see how it is the case that the line cannot be deleted due to entries, when it is not configured.
