 A client phoned earlier today with this error on SL7 SP3.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error

Program:

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way….

I am working on another clients DB now (also SL 7 SP3) and both the test and production applications, on two different servers but using the same exe's, started giving me the same error on ALL reports. I applied all the fixes listed on partner source and on the test DB I now get the

Crystal Print Engine Error: 536-Error in File. Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters on ALL reports. I deleted and recreated the ODBC connections to no avail.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Has anyone else experienced the problem in the last day or two?

Regards,

    I just ran the reports from another server with its own set of SL exe's,  and it ran without problems.  I guess the problem could then be a corrupt exe or ODBC drivers.?
