Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Portal not updating from Dynamics instance. Only for a single entity list.

Hi folks,

I have a portal that contains a series of entity lists. The entity list used for our documents entity doesn't seem to update when a new record is created. This is a custom entity with change tracking enabled. Even when I clear the cache on the portal this doesn't update. I've double checked the view the entity list is built from and that shows all the document records.

I also understand that Microsoft says that it will take 15 mins to refresh (roughly) we've now waited two days and still no update.

Any help?

    Hi,

    What's the entity permissions you have given on this entity. Try setting global and verify if the issue still persists or not.

    Shaminder, I don't know how you got that but that works.

    I had permissions set for parent but not global, legend!
