To whom it may concern,

Please be informed that we recently encountered a situation where the "Flow can be saved " all though the Body content hasn't been filled.
Kindly, check how it's possible as this column is mandatory

I have the same question (0)

Body is mandatory, it needs to be filled with something since in this case the developers thought that blank mails might be an error.
You can identify mandatory fields by the red * sign to the left of field's label.

If you feel this should be changed, you can submit an idea. If it get's enough votes Microsoft might change the behaviour of the action

    Hi Jonas,

Understood the functionality of the platform
But what i meant was, all though the "body" part of the configuration is depicted as a mandatary field ( red * sign ), The platform lets us proceed without entering any body text

Oh, sorry. I misread your question.

It's because you've most likely had text in that field at some point, and then removed it.
If I add the action without doing anything with the body, it will complain about an empty field.

It's a limitation in the HTML editor for the action, it will keep HTML tags even if the control is blanked, so for Power Automate validator it looks like the field contains data. You can see it if you click on the code "</>" button.

If you clear the code from the body, it will begin to complain again.

    Thanks Jonas for the feedback.
Thanks for clarifying the reasoning behind the concern (limitation in the HTML editor for the action)

Once HTML tags were removed , the system throws warning as expected.

Thanks for your prompt response as this helped us proceed with the testing of the power automate flow .
