Hi All,

I have created a  field on Purchase Order List page to add a Description(to add the part  number with a PO number).

I have a requirement where I want this field I have created  i.e. "Description " that a user would enter in purchase Order page to be auto populated on purchase order list page .Both pages have the same table.

Can you please help me with the code.

Regards,

Rupali

Would it make more sense to have it as a table field and then just add the field to the separate pages? The editable property on the order page can be true and on the list page it can be false. Coding wise this would be a table extension and then a couple of page extensions. Resources from Dulio will do the trick as full overviews but these are more specific:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-page-ext-object

    Hello,

I have gone through your question and analyze the issue and as per my understanding you need to add your custom field Description into Purchase Order List and this field is available on Purchase Order page right nowfor that we need to create one extension and add that field.

below is the code to add this field.

Purchase Order Page in Description field is already available:

Purchase Order List Page in Description field is not available:

    PO-Description2.png

You can use this code to add description field.

    • Before that you must need to add your dependency .app details in your extension after that you can see your custom field as per below example.
