    Hi Prem,

Converting Lookup into Dropdown is the strightforward way in Portal using EFM. In your case It might be related to cache issue. Please try clearing your portal cache. Hope it works.

    Hi Prem,

I am not facing any issue with Dynamics v8,2 or 9.0 but since a few days some are facing this issue (community.dynamics.com/.../281979). There are few things you can test.

1.Try on different Entity Form with different entity

    2. Clearing cache - /_services/about

    3. Turning off and Turning on Portal State in the Dynamics 365 Administration Center -> Application

    4. If none of these work please raise support at https://admin.dynamics.com

    Thank

Hi The working of this feature has slightly now changed as per Microsoft s latest update. U will need to create Entity Permissions record for this feature to work.

    Hope this helps u!!

As you mention, this should be done via the Entity Form Metadata, and is straight forward.

What version of CRM and Dynamics Portals are you using?

You can try restarting the Portal and see if this works for you (in Dynamics 365 Admin Center).

    Hope this helps.

    This worked for me.

I had to add the Append permissions in the Entity Permission and it began rendering the options properly again.

Seems to be an issue post 8.4.2.21 release on the 22nd May.

It was working fine before that.

Adding Entity Permission with Append permissions, started working for me as well. Thanks :)

This is the correct answer. Add the Read and Append Entity Permission for the entity you are referring to in the dropdown and it should work.
