Closing GP and entering a budget aftwards

Can a budget be entered at anytime in GP?  I have never used the budget feature and I still need to close the year.

    Yes, you can create/update budgets for closed Fiscal periods.  You will not be able to start the budget as 'new using budget wizard for excel' but you can create the file in excel using a template from another year and import it into the correct budget year, even if it's closed.
