Is it possible to connect a company to multiple parents? I ask for the international side of the business. We work through dealers outside of the US who in turn work with local companies. So for example 3M Germany would be connected to its global parent 3M however we would like to also connect 3M Germany to our local dealer in Germany so that we can see all the sales, opportunities, and activities for all companies in Germany as they roll up to our dealer as well as to their global parent account.

    Hi,

    In that case you need to create another relationship 1: N with your company and place that sub grid on your form and then you can add multiple parents there.

    Hi Christopher,

    An account can only have one parent account. I think you'd want to create a connection role from Account to Account, so you can specify multiple accounts which report up to different parent accounts. You would need to set up your own rollup fields for this though.
