I'm trying to consolidate damaged products that are kept in the offline inventory to another store to send back for credit as one shipment instead of two.
Store Ops Manager allows me to create a transfer out from within the offline inventory and even select "interstore" and the correct destination store, but after connecting to the HQ server (first at the source, then at destination) I'm not sure if there's something I'm not doing correctly or if it's possible to set up an offline transfer from HQ.
I don't think HQ can access the offline inventory of a local system, and it almost feels like offline inventory was tacked on as an afterthought.
Is there any way to get items from the offline inventory transfer from one location to show up, or do I have to simply create the transfer in at the destination?
I believe we did that before, and there was some kind of issue, but it's been years since that, so it may have been someone involved forgetting something.
Thanks!
Paul
Hi Paul,
Sorry for the late answer, but after the the transfer was created you would want to go to Transfer Out; and select Issue All and Commit to complete the Transfer out.
This should then be picked up by the next 401.
NOTE: You did not mention if other Transfer Outs are automatically creating the Transfer In at the receiving store; but if not, you would want to enable the Automatically create inter-store options in HQ Manager >> File >> Configuration:
Hopefully this helps.
