    Hi,

Dynamics 365 CRM consists of many applications such as sales, customer service, marketing, Finance and Operations etc.

In the same environment, if there is a Marketing application and other applications such as Sales Hub application at the same time. Both apps have contact entities, then both apps have exactly the same contact records including timelines.
This is because their data source comes from Dataverse, and both use the contact entity data from Dataverse.

Therefore, do you mean you want to show timeline of other environmental contact records?

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

    Hi Dengliang.

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, I mean in the same environment (production), at the moment I can't see any email communications send from marketing app in our CRM, however we have the same contact records in marketing app and CRM.

How can the marketing email timeline make it visible in CRM for all contacts?

    Kind Regards
    Manu

    Hi Manu,

A couple of things you might want to look in to. First, if you are using a custom form in the Sales Hub or are using a custom form or a custom app, take a look at this post for updating the timeline:
Contact Timeline Adjustments And D365 Marketing Interactions (meganvwalker.com)

If you are using a standard form, it could be that it's the users that don't have the right level of access so you might need to set up a custom security role. More on that one here:

I hope those help and resolve your issue!

    Megan
