Slow performance and constant crashing for a specific login in MS Dynamics GP

We have a user who recently reported that his GP is very slow and constantly crashing. We tried disabling autocomplete, removing files, and providing a different machine, but none of these resolved the issue with his login.

Other users can log into GP on this user's machine without any performance issues. However, when this user logs into GP on any other machine with his user ID, he still experiences slow performance and crashes.

We created a new login for him, which worked fine for 3 to 4 months. Last week, He reported the same issue again with slow performance and crashing in MS Dynamics GP.

Does anyone know a solution for this? We don't want to keep creating different logins for this user each time he experiences this issue.

This is a tough one to do over the forums.

What you are going to need to do is Capture SQL Trace, Proc Mon and also run SQLDIAG tool to see what is happening during these issues. The article below provides information on how to troubleshoot performance issues.
